Medicinal plants in nature — phytotherapy as the foundation of online consultations

When the right naturopath is not around the corner

Perhaps you know this feeling: your child has ADHD, Noonan syndrome, or other special needs. You are looking for naturopathic support with phytotherapy. But there is nobody nearby with the right experience.

Or you found me online, read my story, and thought: "This is exactly the kind of person I need." But Zurich is far away.

This is precisely why my online consultations exist. For years, I have been supporting families across Europe, the UK, the US, and beyond by video. What I experience again and again: a video consultation is just as personal and effective as an in-person visit. Because the most important thing happens in the conversation, not in the treatment room.

Your distance is not an obstacle. Your language is not either.

Why work with me?

When my own child was diagnosed with ADHD and Noonan syndrome, I was on my own. There was no practitioner nearby who understood both conditions. I wished someone could have explained to me over the phone or by video what I could do.

Today, I am that person for other families. In my practice in Zurich, I have been supporting children and adults with phytotherapy for over 10 years. My focus is on children's health, particularly ADHD and Noonan syndrome.

Through online consultations, I can reach families who would otherwise never have found me. And that is something very close to my heart.

An English-speaking naturopath for expats and international families

Many of the families I support are expats in Switzerland or English speakers abroad who could not find a naturopath who works in their language and understands plant-based medicine in depth. From my practice in Zurich, I consult online with parents in Zug, Basel, Geneva, and across the country, and with families further afield who feel at home in English. Whether you grew up with herbal medicine in the UK, with naturopathy in the US, or simply prefer to discuss your child's health in your own language: I am here for you, by video, in calm and unhurried sessions.

How does an online naturopathy consultation work?

Step 1: Free introductory call (15 minutes) We speak by phone or video. You tell me about your situation, I listen. Together we see if we are a good fit. No pressure, no sales pitch, just an honest conversation, person to person.

Step 2: Initial consultation by video (approx. 60 minutes) We meet via Zoom, WhatsApp, or Skype. I take the time you need. We discuss your child's history (or your own), any existing medical reports, daily life, and your questions. I see your child, I listen to you, and I ask targeted questions.

Step 3: Your individual support plan After the consultation, you receive a written plan with specific recommendations: medicinal plants, dosages, nutritional tips, and everyday strategies. Everything clearly explained, ready to implement.

Step 4: Follow-up consultations as needed Medicinal plants take time. In follow-up sessions, we adjust the plan, discuss changes, and address new questions. I am also available by email between appointments.

What you need technically: A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and internet connection. Nothing more. I support Zoom, WhatsApp, and Skype, whichever is easiest for you.

Is an online consultation as effective as in person?

You may be wondering: can a video consultation really be as personal as meeting in person? After hundreds of online consultations, my experience is: yes.

In phytotherapy, the core of the work is the conversation, the case history, and listening. I do not need laboratory equipment or a treatment table to support your child with medicinal plants. What I need is your story, your observations, and your questions. And you can share those just as well by video.

The only difference: you are sitting in your own home. Your child is in a familiar environment. And you save the journey.

Who Are Online Naturopath Consultations For?

Families with ADHD children: You are looking for plant-based support and there is no specialised naturopathic practitioner near you.
More about my ADHD support

Families with Noonan syndrome: Noonan syndrome is rare, specialised naturopathic support even rarer. I am a Noonan mother myself.
More about my Noonan support

Parents in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia: Phytotherapy for children with specialised experience in ADHD and Noonan syndrome is hard to find anywhere. My online consultations make location irrelevant.

Families across Europe: From Germany to Greece, from France to Scandinavia. You do not need to travel to Zurich to receive naturopathic support.

Adults with chronic concerns: Burnout, gut health, hormonal issues, allergies, or general exhaustion. Adults benefit from phytotherapy by video too.

Multilingual families: I consult in 5 languages:
🇩🇪 Deutsch · 🇬🇧 English · 🇫🇷 Français · 🇮🇹 Italiano · 🇬🇷 Ελληνικά

Practical details for international families

Online consultations across continents require practical anchors. Here is how I work with families outside Switzerland.

Time Zones — I adapt to yours

I run consultations from Monday to Friday across several time-zone bands. For families on US Eastern time, I usually schedule afternoon-to-evening Zürich slots (your morning). For the UK and Ireland, real-time works (one hour ahead). For Australia and New Zealand, I open early-morning Zürich slots (your evening). I do not ask you to log in at 2 a.m. for your child to be present. We find a slot that works for everyone, including the child you want me to see.

Medicinal plants — available in your region

I do not recommend a plant your local pharmacy cannot source. For every herbal protocol, I match preparations to what is available where you live: in the UK and Ireland through Neal's Yard Remedies, Baldwins, or your independent herbal-medicine pharmacy. In the United States through a compounding pharmacy, Mountain Rose Herbs, or your trusted health-food retailer. In Australia and New Zealand through TGA-listed practitioner-grade brands and compounding pharmacies. In continental Europe through your nearest Apotheke or Reformhaus. Where regulations differ between countries, we adapt the form — tincture, tea, capsule, glycerite, or dried herb — to what is permitted locally.

Invoices and Insurance — In English, Wherever You Live

I issue all invoices in English with full diagnostic and herbal-protocol detail for international families. Swiss supplementary insurance covers part of the consultation fee where EMR-recognition applies. Outside Switzerland, my invoices have been accepted by select UK private-health policies, US FSA and HSA accounts, and certain EU extension-plans. I cannot guarantee reimbursement, as every insurer is different, but I provide the paperwork in the format your administrator expects.
